10 Reasons Why Kids aren’t as Tough as their Parents
There is something to be said about parenting back in the day. Parents were tough but fair. Kids had to be tougher. Kids couldn’t be afraid to live. If they were, they either grew out of that shit quickly or died. Here’s 10 reasons why kids aren’t as tough as their parents.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, or invincible. Even though medicine was around, it surely wasn’t what it is today. I think I’m jealous.

You ever ask your parents and grandparents what they played with as a kid? Kids are pretty fearless already, but have this be their regular playtime activity and they won’t be afraid of much. They’ll either have great balance or a sore body. Either way they are learning something.

Parenting through the great depression was really hard on families. There has to be a way to downsize the family without being held responsible. Let’s just put the baby out to get some air… Survive this and they definitely won’t be afraid of heights.

Come on, what’s not fun about this? Our parents had all the cool toys. They got to learn to wait patiently in line without fidgeting much. Too much fidgeting and you’re going over the sides. Once they get to the top then it’s only one way down. So they have to face their fears and just go for it. There’s a life lesson…
